Subscription & Billing
- Commitment: A mandatory 12-month initial commitment is required. Subscriptions operate on a continuous, auto-renewing monthly billing cycle thereafter.
- Annual Discount: Clients opting for an annual upfront payment are eligible for a 10% discount on the total premium.
Coverage Details
- Smart System: To ensure warranty compliance, the property must utilize a fully functioning Hunter brand Hydrawise smart irrigation controller.
- Pest Protection: While comprehensive, the plan enforces an annual maximum coverage cap for pest-related damage (e.g., grubs, chinch bugs) to mitigate liability from total infestations.
- Exclusions: Coverage strictly excludes damage resulting from physical impact (e.g., vehicles, snowplows), pet urine, and failure to properly winterize the irrigation system.
Check-Ins & Claims
- Proactive Audits: The program includes two complimentary mid-season inspections to proactively monitor soil pH, moisture levels, and overall turf health.
- Remote Verification: Clients must grant Instant Lawns “Contractor Access” within the Hydrawise application to allow for manual verification of irrigation logs during the claims process.
- Dormancy Rule: To account for natural winter dormancy, no on-site physical audits for early spring claims will be conducted prior to May 15th.
